My XF is 4 and a half years old now and bodywork still in excellent condition after just 31,500 miles. I'm keen to keep the car but as it stands outside all year I'm wondering if it would be worth rustproofing underneath. Does anyone have any comments or an idea of the best treatment and cost. I've heard that 'Waxoil' is a good option?

I have spoken to a few people about something I saw called Lanoguard.

I have been told its very good and easy to apply for DIY application.

I am going to try it myself.

I have used the Lanoguard on my rear subframe and components and can confirm, it’s easy to use and covers very well indeed.
