F Pace Jaguar 3.0D engine problems

Good evening everybody.

How big is the problem with the Jaguar F Pace 3.0D engine (crank) . I have a 2017 model which I love but all the negative talk about the crankshaft giving up worries me with the cost of £15000 to fix it. The car has only done 45000 miles.

I would be very grateful for any advice.

Hi, I also have a 3.0d with 44k. I haven't heard of the crankshaft issue but mine makes a whistling when accelerating, not sure whether it's the turbo or not. Does your one have any problems to date cheers Robert
