Hi all

A few basics I am 54 years old and have always from a young lad loved the E Type, I am now in a position to actually buy one and the model I would need is a 2+2 coupe (I can get out of one of these) what in you opinion would be a good starting point with a budget of £25k, must have wires and be RHD.

obviously a car of this age at the price I can afford will not be anywhere near pristine but I am looking for a decent body and chassis (paintwork not a problem) and a car that has a mot and runs. The problem is I have looked at about 6 now ranging from £18k to £25k and theres not a great deal of difference apart from the £7K difference. So what problems and where should I be looking. I know this is a long one to answer but any input would be appreciated

jon

Welcome Jon, E type a good choice, hope you find a good one. :D
