Hi my anme is Rhett and I live in Sleaford Lincolnshire. We've just got an Xtype today and am very pleased with it however there appears to be two problems with it?

The drivers door handle doesn't open the door every time and the boot gas struts let the lid stop at any position. Is the door handl a known fault and do the gas struts normally push the lid up or down after going " over centre" in each direction? It would be nice to know what you all think? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome Rhett, did you buy the car from a dealer or privately, I would take it back either way, as the seller would have known there was a problem, but as always check every button, window, lights etc and take on 2 or 3 test drives if you are not sure, enjoy your new cat. :D
