Featured Replies

Hi all just thought id ask if anybody has had the same problem -

our x type 2.5 aircon comp has a fault of dropping in psi when engine is on tick over with a milage of 80k ( no cooling or demisting given as out put for the aircon sys )

but as soon as u gain engine speed the compressors psi increases to allow gas to drop in bar hense cool / or demist starts

we have had the tested at air con direct who confirm the comp is faulty !!! but before we order a used comp- has anybody else heard of this fault as we dont want to purchess a used unit with a simlar prob- if so will then have to pay out for a new unit :(

many thanks for looking
