heater only seems to get hot when car has been running for a long time or at speed 70 honest officer any idea's i think it could be wrong thermostat . also rear suspension squeaks but car is a 1999 with 420000 miles on the clock and hadn't been used for a while till i bought it .

Yes it sounds like a sticky thermostat.. best get it changed.

The suspension could be worn or dried out bushes squeaking

I thought it would be .that should keep me busy when I have a day off and i will get it up on ramps to check the bushes and wheels off to check suspension thanks for the suggestions
