Strange plastic bags in inlet manifold?

Hello everyone,

Ive been searching online and cant find an answer anywhere to this strange question.

I seem to have some clear air-filled bags between my engine and inlet manifold area on my 3.0 v6.

Im hoping its not a quick fix to sell the car on quick but really cant see any car manufacture using plastic air-filled bags in such a hot area.

Im hoping someone can put my mind to rest on this issue.
