Hi I've not had my S Type 3 litre auto T registration for long and its still under a short warranty. Its a great car though there is a bit of a niggle still. There is a smell of hot Oil type of thing coming into the cab especially on start up. The garage has had a look and replaced a worn anti freeze hose as that was dripping onto the engine. Also a bit of headlining had fallen onto the engine and was burnt this was sorted but unfortunately the smell is still there. The engine is running very well, the exhaust is sound. The garage man said the breather pipes were ok (and I couldn't see any smoke or leaks from them) and anyway had been replaced last year. Any ideas at all?

Cheers

Alf
