Hi,

I bought the same model (is yours black amethyst by any chance, it looks like it in the photos) three weeks ago from H.A. Fox Leeds.

I've found it to be a truly great drive so far.  For a 3.0litre engine it is extremely economical, but doesn't compromise when the "welly" is needed. The seats are the most comfortable I've ever owned, and I simply love the console facilities.  The sound system is also the real deal.

Do you, by any chance, have an iPhone?  If I connect my iPhone to the iPod usb connector with bluetooth "on" and try to play music from the music library on the phone, the music stops after about two minutes.  The manual implies that iPhone should work as the iPod does.  Also, the "car to device" bluetooth can't find the iPhone which I find very strange ( the "device to car" works fine).

Anyway, enjoy your Jag, I certainly am - drive safely, stay cool and alive!!!!!

Regards,

Colin

PS.

I have driven Mercedes for the last nine years, Audi before that.  Neither have given me the buzz that this beast has!

Hi,

I am new to these forums...Love your enthuseasm about the Lovely, Beautiful, XF (I feel tyhe same). I have previously owned from new, 3 X Types, a 2.0L Petrol, a 2.5L- AWD Petrol (what a Road Hugger) and lastly a 2.2L Diesel "Sovereign". Unfortunately, I am finding my XF very "Harsh Riding" after my "Sovereign. I can understand that the suspention needs to be "Harder" on my XF but when I traverse some undulating roads at low speeds, the XF bounces about so much so that it becomes very, very uncomfortable as I get thrown violently from side to side in my very comforatable seat. When I had a test drive in a 3.0L D XF and I did not notice any of this unwanted action at the time. I also experience a sort of "Wallowing" feeling on some main roads. I have contacted Jaguar Head Office, who state that this should not be happening and the result is that my XF is going back to the dealers next week for inspection. Is there any chance that you have come across this problem with your XF.....Happy Motoring in your Lovely XF......BillyBoy

Hi BillyBoy...and welcome to the club !

Sounds like the fault may be related to the tyres, wrong fitment for the car possibly?

Please let us know how you get on.

Regards,   Trevor
