being new to jag ownership I was wondering if the more experienced owners could tell me the common

problems with jag x type 2.0d se 2008.

I have been round mine with fine tooth comb and greased, oiled, cleaned and replaced everything obvious.

just wanted to know if there is anything I should look out for prevention is better than a cure as they say.

I had a 2.5 L X type, and never a problem, other than rear parking sensors.

 

Enjoy your car,  get a club sticker, and watch out for a blue s type which ventures into Staffordshire - as the border checkpoints are only a mile away.

Trevor [the young one] --  administrator will most likely read this post and tell you what to do --  very simple.

 

I would imagine it come off quite easily as they stick to the outside of front and rear windows.

So they stick on the outside ?, thought it was the inside, hadn't put mine on as the glass it tinted , I shall do so as soon as the tide has stopped coming down.

Actually it is better to have them on the outside as they do not interfere with visibility.  They do look very good, too.

oh wow!   is she a production engineer?

No, she is a Doctor of Philosophy , she was discussing a case of a young girl who committed suicide after being on one of the social network sites .

oh dear...serious subject then !

She has just got a Phd in psychiatry specialising in eating disorders in the young , she got a 2:1 in cognitive neuropsychology and neuroscience at Oxford. She writes books and lectures round the country and stuff and is extremely clever, but can get a tad serious. but I'll change that , I'm taking her out to some live gigs in the Autumn .

 

And she actually approves of me changing my christian name (my welsh one ) to Hendrix by deed poll, so she is coming round !

One is indeed into Jimi Hendrix, my daughter wouldn't call the granddaughter Hendrix, so what was I supposed to do?
