Hi. Just got my first xk8. On a 2001 (51 plate). Couple of issues tho. Mainly the "fail safe" keeps appearing and car goes into limp mode. Looked into putting a recon throttle body on...just need to locate a reliable source...any ideas ?

Also the trim on the outside of the drivers/passenger windows. ..need refurb or replace...again any ideas

Any help would be much appreciated.

When I got my first Jaguar, I was told I would never drive another make.  True so far.

 

Jaguars are in a class of their own.

 

Rimmer Bros do sell reconditioned parts which are genuine Jaguar.  Just Jags is another good site to look at.

 

I am also fairly certain that you could also get replacement trim from either one of these people.
