Connecting my mobile in my Xtype

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I have a Xtype and would like my mobile to link into the radio system so I bought a parrot in car phone connection kit but as I wouldn't have been able to fit it myself I had a local company put it in for me only problem being is that they weren't able to tap it into the radio system so they put an external speaker in the footwell, they said that there is no wiring on the market that would be able to link the two together so that when the phone rings when I'm driving would cut into the radio in order for the phone call to come through the speakers, does any one know different?

Hi Karen, and welcome to the club.

I had a 2005 x type and was unable to paid my 'phone via Bluetooth.  Unlike you, I gave up.

There are some members in the club who do understand this electronic wizardry, and who will probably offer some suggestions.

Meanwhile, enjoy your jaguar.

Regards,

Peter.
