Hi All, New Member, Newbie Questions

Hi Jason, once you have all of those parts updated, you will be good for another 5 years or more. I like to change my battery at 5 years old, as I do with the tyres - typically that's around 15,000 miles so not too bad on tread wear criteria.
Funnily enough, I was talking with a pal at the weekend, whose son has a Lotus with a fair amount of carbon fibre installed. He was taking the splitter to a local company up here in Aberdeenshire who undertake Carbon Fibre repairs. Not suggesting you send your splitter to Aberdeen, but it indicates that there are likely to be industrial fibre type repair shops who undertake these things.
I haven't used Lanoguard, on the XKR - it doesn't come out during the winter months, but had the treatment completed on my Range Rover Sport and Mini recently, it is good stuff. Should be given an annual check-up though, depending on mileage.

Had my car check with a local Jaguar Specilist earlier, was an interesting visit!
She's in good nick, just need a NSR ARB link gaitor replace (split), and a couple of brake hoses replaced... Advised treatment with Lanoguard, but reviews not exactly glowing!
However, tyres are shocking, one from 2017, two from 2018 and one 2019, and the one that had a low pressure warning when I was inspecting at Sytner Warrington has got a !Removed! nail in it! The fact they let me drive home 100 miles (live in Leics) in a 570HP car, in truely terrible weather, with crap rubber is, well, shocking... So, gonna sort 4 * Micheline Pilot Sport 4S all round, think I can get for around £950 fitted at CostCo...
Boot gas struts aren't a XKR-S part either, and is why it's so heavy to lift (and old)...
Front CF splitter isn't original, looking at what I can source OEM for a replace, then will get current one repaired and wrapped in CF vinyl, and hold as spare (new one won't last on UK roads / speedbumps, painful £ wise but gives me future options)...
Have joined XKCC, got welcome pack today...

Low battery warning

I think I would disconnect the DashCam (pull the fuse on the power lead) and then monitor the difference once its had a good run and left overnight.
