    Hi Neil, Welcome to the Club. You will enjoy your s type and the 2.5 engine is a very good power unit, eclipsed a bit by the 3 litre. A friend of mine had the 2.5 engine in his s type, and I had the same engine in my x type and never a mechanical problem. Regards, Peter.
