  1. Jaguar X Type V6 SE Auto First registered January 2002 MOT expires 15th August 2017 Current mileage 57500 (currently in use so will rise slightly) Full service history showing 13 stamps from Stratstone and the most recent service carried out by an independent Jaguar specialist on 26th July 2016. Importantly this car had a gearbox overhaul by AGS at a cost of over £2k in February 2016 and this is guaranteed for 2 years subject to a service after a year. Officially the colour of the car is “beige” but most see it as gold or even champagne. The body work is in good condition all round with very few marks for a car of this age. There are no rusty marks to be seen and it holds a very good shine. The wheels are original equipment and are in good condition wearing 4 matching tyres fitted new in May this year. When they were fitted, wheel alignment was checked and adjusted. Internally the condition is excellent, the beige leather showing no tears or significant signs of use. Original over-mats are present in the front footwells and the rear seems to have seen little use. The condition inside the boot and under the bonnet is excellent. This is a very engaging car to drive; it is quite happy to purr around but the 2.5 V6 and adaptive gearbox will quickly promote you to illegal speeds should you wish. I have mainly used the car for longer distance journeys, however, and (bearing in mind that all drivers are different) have found fuel consumption to have been better than expected for a big V6 Auto with all wheel drive. The SE specification means there are lots of toys to play with including a CD multichanger in the boot and rear parking sensors. Everything works as it should. All warning lights illuminate on ignition, and extinguish as they should. There really are no issues that I am aware of. I have enjoyed owning and driving the car this summer, but I am a Citroen fan at heart and have just bought two more to go with one I already have and there is no more room – something has to go! Because of this, I am not interested in any swaps or part exchanges for anything. I have priced the car to sell bearing in mind its low mileage, history, long (clear of advisories) MOT and excellent condition. Do come and look at the car. It is currently taxed and insured and remains in use so I can take prospective purchasers out in it. I really don’t think you will be disappointed. The car is located in the north east of England between Darlington and Stockton. Durham Tees Valley Airport is a short walk away and the East Coast Mainline stops at Darlington Station 5 miles away. 2. Six weeks on from my last post and everything still functions. We also have a new MOT with no advisories! My only grouse at the moment is that the windscreen air vents seem to have buckled and the passenger side one rattles in a most annoying way, and it is still not very comfy... On the whole though it has grown a lot in my affections. Another long trip south beckons in the morning.
