  1. Thanks again for the reply, changed the new battery with another battery under warranty to make sure that it was a new duff battery. Put on still the same even had a service due light come up which is new, again car still not starting. Which makes me think with a brand new battery this would rule out the alternator and battery? I did find this which I have just called jaguar in regards too as its exactly what my car is doing, so want to check to see if mine falls into this category. http://www.jagrepair.com/images/TSB/TSB2/NEW XJ/413Inst & panel illumination/XJ413-02 Multiple Warnings On Instrument Cluster.pdf
  2. Thanks for the response, I have fitted a new battery recently which cured it for 4 days and I thought all was good. But today its all come back on and will not start, all lights on immobiliser flashing away.
  3. Really getting to the end with this car now and am praying someone has had similar or can point me in the same direction. The car is a 2.7D Jaguar XJ 2007, and the symptoms I'm getting is every single warning light possible is coming on the dash, loss of power steering speedo and rev counter. Have also had it not start due to the immobiliser flashing and several times hasn't started at all meaning a bus home! Not what I expected when buying one of these..... Have so far cleaned all the earths up round headlight areas which cured it for a few days then back on. New battery again cured for a few days now back on and currently not starting! Checked the charge rate on the battery which is good. I had the AA out too who found a immobiliser fault code but removed it and couldn't fault it after, but came back on a few minutes after he had gone when driving. Tried using spare key again same symptoms. I've seen alternator being a problem on several jaguars but would it cause these symptoms? Especially when the battery is showing a strong charge rate? Thanks in advanced I really hope to get this sorted soon! :(
