Hi Joe, Thanks for the reply. its a fair assumption that E means #5. However, I'm still none the wiser as to which cylinder #5 is. It could be front of LH or front of RH bank. It could easily be one of the middle ones too. Does anyone know? Thanks Chris

I've got a '99 XKR. Yesterday it started firing on 7 cyls and the message "Performance Restricted" appeared on the display. So I plugged in a fault code reader and it says Ignition Coil E failed. Does anyone know which of the 8 packs "E" is?
