  1. Hi Carole, You don't mention your wheel size but I will assume they are 17", personally I am running these tyres and I find them impeccable, silky smooth, fantastic grip and quiet. If you like them I would suggest buying them directly from the UK distributor, the link is to the tyres on their site, with 4 tyres they give free next day delivery and they can be delivered to your local tyre fitter. http://www.nordiccartyres.co.uk/index.php?pageid=45&recid=2356017 The link doesn't take you to the selected tyres, my advice is for the Weatherproof tyres. I did a lot of research before getting a set of tyres myself, remember that the tyres are the only point in contact with the road, so getting it right is vital to feel, comfort and safety, these tyres are actually cheaper than most of the main brands as well. Best wishes, Dom
  2. Hi Terence, I bought my first Jag in Oct 2017, a 62 plate XF Sportbrake Portfolio with only 25K on the clock, I was expecting the magic carpet ride so was a little dissapointed with the harsh ride, a little research and a bit more spending and now I have it right. It came with 19" wheels and 245/40 tyres, which whilst they look great were a big contributor to the harsh ride, add to this that the Sportbrake has self leveling rear air suspension. I managed to find some original second hand 17" XF wheels on here, powder coated black, which matches the car, they came with 235/55 Dunlop winter tyres, this made an immediate improvement but I didn't really like the feel of the Dunlops, I bought some Nokian Weatherproof all season tyres and now it feels like silk, quieter, smoother, gripier, better in wet, better in snow, better in the dry, I really couldn't recommend the Nokians enough and they are cheaper than Dunlops, Michelin and Pirelli. If you want some I highly recommend buying them direct from the UK suppliers at nordic tyres dot co dot uk and getting them delivered directly to your local tyre fitter, don't buy from one of those online companies that pretend to be in the UK but are somewhere in Europe that typically have older stock tyres and get orders wrong. IF you look at all those older gorgeous Jags, none of them had low profile tyres, that's the key, remember, the tryres are the only thing in contact with the tarmac so it is vital to get that part right. I hope my rambling helps. Best wishes and happy motoring, Dom, P.S. I have kept the original wheels for when I decide to trade in for a newer model, @ £500 per wheel I didn't want to get them damaged, 2 birds, 1 stone.
  3. I Just got some Nokian Weatherproof's, they are fabulous tyres, silky smooth, excellent grip and quiet. Most all season tyres are summer tyres designed to work OKish in the winter, the Nokians are Winter Tyres designed to work all year round. They have a wet grip rating of "A" and they are far cheaper than Michelins. Don't buy from one of those dodgy European sites pretending to be in the UK, buy them direct from the UK distributors (www.nordiccartyres.co.uk) Dom
  4. Hi Pete, Is this the official Jag boot liner or after market, also is it rubbery or foam? Thanks in advance, Dom
  5. Hi Richie, I am very interested in your wheels, do you want to PM me your contact details so we can discuss further? What's the offset & width of the wheels? I look forward to hearing from you soon. Dom
  6. Hi Marc, I have been looking into this recently and about to take the plunge on some Nokian WR A4 which I actually intend to use year round, I currently have dunlops and the Nokian have the same grip and economy ratings but with the added bonus of the extra winter grip. https://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/nokian/wr-a4/245-40-r19-98v-501100 Pretty good pricing on this site. Best wishes, Dom
  7. Hi, I am new to the Jag forum having just joined the Jag owners club with a (new to me) XF Sportbrake. My question is if there are any fellow sportbrake owners that have the load space retention kit and are willing to part ways with it for a reasonable offer? Hope to hear from one of you soon. Best wishes, Dom P.S. I am also interested in a rubber matt for the boot
  8. Hello All, First time Jag owner with a new to me XF Sportbrake Portfolio. Over the moon to have finally joined the club. Best wishes, Dom
