Hi all i am new to this forum and i own a 2007/8 jag x type 2.2td saloon model. I am looking for some help i am taking out the factory fitted stereo headunit and dvd drive from the boot the problem i have is when i disconnect the dvd drive and phone module i lose the ability to open the boot. the boot release seams to be powered from the dvd rom. is there any way around this?
