Thanks Steve for your response. Not sure if the fault light disco is because the engine has cut out first then throwing up the faults . It’s not done it once while the engine is up to temp or even after being parked at work for 4 hrs plus it’s always the first cold start of the day. Then doesn’t show up again all day . The problem is it’s Auto and loose my brakes and power steering it’s a bit squeaky bum time to be honest.

Hi I appear to have a strange fault with my S Type V6 Diesel . It starts absolutely fine Get anywhere between 1/2 a mile to mile down and the engine just cuts out and I get a DSC fault and Park brake fault and grinds to a hault . Restart the car and it will run with out fault for the rest of the day. It’s weird the fault code says loss of communication. Apart from a safety point of view it’s just very irritating. Any Ideas
