Looking to sell my 2.2d XF Portfolio. 90k, fsh. Caviar with cream leather. MOT 31/12

 The bad stuff .... Windscreen washer pump needs replaced, I have a new one, just needs fitted. Small paint bubble (50p size) on rear arch, quoted £95 to repair.

First £8.5k takes it away.

I've just had the BCM replaced on my 2012 XF 2.2 Portfolio. The water ingress in this area is an absolute disgrace. There's a vent near the BCM that channels water into it, under the batteries, and gathering under the spare wheel.

I've just got my XF back from the auto electrician, after the rear BCM died (corrosion! The amount of water in XF's is criminal), and was replaced.

I have lost DAB completely, not even showing on screen. StopStart isn't working, powerfold mirrors not folding, guide lines gone from reverse camera. 

I'm guessing these are all, in some way, connected (no pun intended).

Rather than taking it back, is there some simple solution that will fix it?

Three days since this occurred, and, touch wood, no further problems.

Hi, lovely looking car. I'm 5 weeks into ownership of my Portfolio, I still find myself gazing at it like a love-struck teenager!

Thanks everyone. Well, it looks like I’m getting the same average returns as most. Still, compared to the 16mpg my dad was getting from his XJ6’s in the ‘70’s, it’s not too shabby.

Hi everyone, I’ve had my 2012 Portfolio 2.2D for a few weeks now.  Now, I’m well aware that official figures, and, real world numbers rarely compare. But, I’m getting pretty poor returns so far. 

I’ve just done a 500 mile trip, mainly motorway, not driving “enthusiastically”, and averaged 42.3 mpg.

On the stop-start daily commute, I’m only getting 30 mpg.

Is this the norm?
