Having just purchased another Jaguar it is time to sell my S type R the car is in carnival red and looks stunning. The paint work has been done with all the bleamishes rectified from when I brought the car. The wheels have been powder coated and are shod with Pirelli P zero tyres with good tread. The interior is black leather with the usual sport aluminium details. The history file is the reason i purchased the care it is very comprehensive and in the time i have owned the car which is a little under twelve months i have had the car serviced and the automatic box fluid and filters changed and the front discs and pads changed. As with all 16 year old cars there are always small jobs to be done but this is a nice example and rives very well it leaves me with a smile on my face every time i drive it The car has done just over 131000 miles and this may go up as i will still enjoy the car the mot is till October this year. I am looking for an S type manual petrol V6 either the 2.5 or 3.0 L 2006 or 2007 model year what have you got ?? Would prefer low miles, pale colour interior, sun roof but as its a second hand car that's over 13 years old you cant get too hung up on specifications. I am based in the midlands but i am prepared to travel for the right car

HI all I am having problems with my 2006 my s type Diesel going into reduced performance mode I know i have a problem with my one EGR valve the codes i am getting are P0407 Exhaust Gas re circ sensor circuit B low there has been a lot written about i think this can be resolved by either replacement of my preferred option of remapping but the other is P2008 Intake manifold Runner control circuit open bank 1 Thuis seems to manifest itself with a Reduced performance mode at intermittant intervals especially after sharp acceleration I know there should be a module that controlles this operation but i cannot seem to find it ? any help would be apperciated Best wishes Julian

Hi there I have just purchased a 2006 MY stype diesel manual as a replacement for my company car . I am over the moon with it but i seem to to be having an issue on cold start up some times i get a smell if diesel in the cabin not for very long then it goes away. However today on my first cold start up the smell was very strong with some smoke it was only for a very short time but worrying then it went away i looked in the engine bay to see if i had a leak onto the manifolds but could not see any thing the car then ran really well for the rest of the trip with good economy for a 2.7 has any body any ideas i dont mind doing the oily stuff but electronics scare the hell out of me on modern cars Julian
