  1. Hello, I am working on a television documentary series for Channel Five, Discovery Channel and BBC Worldwide, all about classic cars that became popular icons. The E-Type has its own programme in the series and in one part of this programme, we are keen to film with a pristine example that can act as an introduction to how wonderful the E-Type can look. Ideally, we will film our two presenters driving the car on country roads, getting excited to be behind the wheel of such a classic, talking about the E-Type and why it was, and still is, so significant. This will be a really important sequence in the programme, so if any members have a car that they will be willing to let us drive, we’d be hugely grateful. I understand that an owner of such a fine car may be reluctant to give let others drive it, but, naturally, we would invite them along on the shoot, where they can keep an eye on their pride and joy at all times (with the added bonus of getting the experience of seeing how a TV show is made). We can also assure any owner that their car would be completely insured by us at Blink Films, and since filming would be taking place on public roads there would be no aggressive driving, whatsoever. Please let me know if anyone is up for it. Preferably, we would film in the greater London area, and at some point next week (week commencing 11th June). I can be reached at the contact details below, and will be happy to answer any queries about the filming. Many thanks and best regards, James Sandy Blink Films james.sandy@blinkfilmsuk.com 0207 749 3125 www.blinkfilmsuk.com
  2. Hello everyone, I'm working on a classic car series for Channel Five and Discovery Channel and I'm looking to film with owners and enthusiasts of the E-Type. It would be great to know if there are any member events coming up soon where people will be getting together to display their stunning E-Types - an open forum where we can interview people about the enduring appeal of the car. A quirky, fun, lively gathering is ideal for this. We also want to cover the racing prowess of the car, quite separately, and so a different event, dedicated to racing the cars "in anger", would also be very helpful. I'll take any and all suggestions. As much detail as possible about the event, and keeping it specifically about one display event, or, one racing event, will be appreciated. Many thanks and very best regards, James Sandy, Blink Films james.sandy@blinkfilmsuk.com
