  1. Hi Richard, I echo Geoff's sentiments, glad to hear you've got your issues fixed, happy motoring from now on :D :D :D
  2. Hi David. welcome to the forum and Jag ownership if this your first? Best regards, Dave
  3. Hi Brian, The link is a few topics below this one, however, I've just had a look and the application form appears to be corrupted - so is non-functional. I've pm'd an adminstrator to see if they can sort it. I'll give you a shout when I hear anything. Best regards, Dave
  4. HI Burl, I had a look at this a couple of months ago, reviewed their website and it looks pretty impressive, especially if the results are as good as they say. I filled out the enquiry form and had a respone back the next day. The email dialogue was swift and comprehensive the only thing I found lackng was the before and after testing as seen on the video. They provide a mobile service which can be at your home or work address, they just need a small amount of workspace around the car and an electrical outlet for their compressor. I haven't yet decided to take the plunge but as my S-Type has just sailed through it's MOT, I may wait a little longer. Keep us informed of how you get on. Best regards, Dave
  5. Hi Richard, I like the sound of that, I'm toying with the idea of buying alternative wheels for my car, with a thought to increase both diameter and width. Nothing too extreme maybe 18 x 9 or 19 x 9. Regards, Dave
  6. Hi Salih, Welcome to the forum, not good news with your keys. I had a similar problem with my old car (admittedly not a Jag), as well as replacing the electronics of the plipper they needed to replace the key as the plipper was a molded unit - only the battery could be removed and swapped. I'd hope you'd be able to re-use the S-Type key as mine does not appear to be molded to the housing and flips out.and tucks back in. Have you searched on ebay? Or tried ask a mechanic? Good luck, Dave
  7. Hi Mike, Welcome to the club and Jag ownership, Hope to see a few phots of your lovely beast. Best regards, Dave
  8. Hi Richard, How do you find the 18" Turbines, do you notice a harsh ride at all? Regards, Dave
  9. Hi Richard, She looks absolutely stunning, gorgeous colour and a great set of rims, what size are they? 18"? Best regards, Dave
  10. Hi Trevor, To be honest, I don't know a great deal about the XJ and I've only owned a Jag a little over 12 months. As with anything like this always best to make sure the basics have been covered. You could try some of the following: http://britishparts.co.uk/t/jaguar/jaguar-xj-x350-xjr http://www.sngbarratt.com/ http://www.justjagsuk.com/products/0/Search/?q=&make=&model=X350&cat=8 http://www.thejaguarshop.com/ But from what I've seen, unless you find someone who is breaking a similar model it looks like you may have to dig deep. :( :( :( Have you looked through the classified section? Good luck, Dave
  11. Hi Richard, Depending where you're uploading them from, you can normally resize them to be a moderate resolution, alternatively you could resize in MS Picture Manager. Best regards, Dave

  17. Hi Graham, No dramas mate. Jaguars at the Castle sounds pretty awesome - what a cracking venue. You mention needing numbers in advance - what's your cut-off date? Also it may be useful to start a new thread, just so it doesn't get lost in this one. You can count me in, and I think with all the activities throughout the day I'll more than likely bring the family Best regards, Dave .
  18. Hi Anthony, Welcome to the forum, what other Jags have you owned? Best regards, Dave
  19. No dramas Steve, I hope nothing too serious??
  20. Hi Roy, Pulley #1 is called "Accessory drive belt idler pulley", the closest I've found is PN AJ89037 but is for a S-Type V6 2006 to 2009, I haven't found anything older. Have a look at: http://britishparts.co.uk/products/8029-idler-pulley-AJ89037 Regards, Dave

  22. Hi Stewart, I enjoyed the meet and. the HMC, it's been a couple of years since my last visit - I'll post some pics of the Jag display later today I didn't take you for a luddite ;), you have to upload you photos into something like photobucket then use the picture icon above and paste the url into it. If you delete or move the phot from it's online storage you change the url losing the pic from the post. I hope you passed on the forum details to the young Jag enthusiast??? :D :D :D Brooklands sounds good, have you seen what's on on the 14th July? B) B) May be a little too soon but supposed to be summer ^_^
