I have the 2.2 and that's lumpy on starting in cold weather for about 10 seconds then runs normal

I use ctek stop/start and works fine

70000mls or 7 years which ever comes first mine ticks over at 900, having my belt done this year,mines a 2015 2.2 65000mls

like any other car really just try and get one with full service history pref dealer or jag specialist, do a car check, think one of the main probs on 3.0d is DPF but if use something like BP ultimate fuel or every 3rd fill up and give it a good run now and then should be fine, i,m sure someone else on here has some more tips for you oh and would check any advisories have been done on MOT

Look for full service history, any MOT advisories and have they been done gives an indication on how the car has been looked after and don't think they are no more pricier to maintain than any other larger car just find a good lndie jag specialist

I had it where it suddenly dropped to minimum and low fuel warning light came even though I had over half tank of fuel, need a new sender unit

hi yes its true if you can get the vin number and click below enter your vin number and submit, click witch country then click on service history,vin on bottom passenger side of windscreen,if not shown probably been serviced at a local garage but should still have some paperwork if so

Don't think there is a auxiliary battery on the x260 2016 model mine is the x250 2.2 with auxiliary battery my start/stop also stopped working charged both batteries still doesn't work think it's a known problem on these cars but I certainly don't miss it

hi Dave,you can use premium diesel all the time if you wish up to you just the cost for me,i use STP ultra 5 in 1 every 4 to 5000 miles

hi,yes it should just pop up an inch or so but there is a mod on tube to make it fully open but it is working as it should

You can buy a cd and put it in your cd player but be careful there's some dodgy ones out there you could end up ballsing it up

You need to have a slave battery. You could take one off of another car. Connect the slave battery to the terminals on the big battery. Remove the big battery making sure the slave one remains connected. Put in new battery, Connect and remove slave battery leads.
hi paulT thought you could take out the auxilary battery with no worries don't think you have to put slave on main battery or am i wrong ?

Hi all, anyone know if there is a fuel inertia switch and where to find it on 2014 jag 2.2 xf,thanks
