  1. I have a XF 3.0 v6 petrol Supercharged on a 2017 plate. Can anyone confirm whether this engine has a timing belt or chain. At what age or mileage does it need changing. I'm a low mileage user.
  2. I bought a 2017 Jaguar XFS 3.0 Supercharged in October 2018. I have never received Live updates through My Sat Nav. According to the Subscription I've paid for another two years this should happen. Having spoken to the Dealership they inform Me that I have to acquire a data card and install it in the centre console. Then via a pay as you go System pay monthly ( minimum I can find is £5 per month). What I'd like to establish is does the technology in the car allow Me to connect with My Mobile phone when it's set up as a Hot spot and use the data from My phone contract to provide this service. I can use My laptop whilst out and about by connecting it to My mobile phone when I've set it as a Hotspot can I do the same with the car. Can't find a contact number that works to speak with Jaguar Customer Services they're all closed. Look forward to a response Nigel.
  3. I live in Urmston Manchester, does anybody know a Technician/Mechanic who has the skills and set up to work on an XF 3.0 Supercharged Petrol? Could they back their service and skills with recommendations from Customers that use them at present? Thank You in advance Nigel.
  4. Good evening too Whoever might be the recipient, I purchased My XFS 3.0 petrol in October 2018. I’m extremely happy with Car and it’s Been a perfect Retirement present to Myself. The only issues I have is that extending Warranties, In Car Control System, Satellite Navigation system costs appear too be heavily in favour of Jaguar and not the Customer. I’ve paid £416 for a two year membership for In Car Control but have since found out if I don’t extend the Warranty for another year at a cost of £930 the Breakdown Recovery doesn’t work. As someone who doesn’t intend selling the car it’s My feeling that some of the expensive after sales products should have the option to incorporate other aspects for or at least have better breakdown options. I’m interested to see if members of the a Jaguar Owners club have access to privileges and maybe discount on such products. I would phone Jaguar Customer Services but due too the Pandemic they are not manned. Find that difficult to understand in a world where I can buy a pint, get My haircut and soon enter a gym or swimming pool. I await replies hopefully with good News. Nigel
