I've only ever used what was in the car, X type 2001 and now 2006, I just make the best of it, don't find it that bad

The satnav unit in the boot, not the player, that's for music etc.

Stupid reply by me....but what is the battery voltage reading ? Sounds like the solenoid maybe. -

This happened to me, I took the cd out and dried it, I think a hint of damp may stop it working, then repeated to sart it and its never failed since, 3 years ago.
