Hi Alan, Sorry for the delay in replying as I have just seen your post. I removed that panel so I could cover it in matt black vinyl to match the rest of the interior. All you need is a very thin lever to slip under the mouldingand prise it up allthe way round. I used a stainless steel spatula from my wifes cooking tools, It is about 20mm wide. hope this helps if you have not yet removed it. GS
