  1. I have a much loved X Type Estate has developed a leak on the near side rear window and is dripping onto the navigation unit causing it to fail. Any advice please.
  2. Hi All I have just fitted a replacement Navigation unit to my X Type. It switcxhes on ok and the display is fine - I cannot seem to set the address. I click the icon and nothing. Help please
  3. For some time I have heard a strange clunk or knock from underneath the floor under the drivers seat. My local garage could not identify the problem but comes when I start moving and sometimes when approaching left hand bends. On a second topic sometimes when I accelerate quickly I suddenly loose power and a coi symbol comes up on thedashboard. I pull up stitch off and back on and everyting is ok again. Any thoughts?
  4. Hi all I have just changed the Navigation box in the rear of my X Type Estate. Bought a second hand unit through E Bay and also purchased a new Genuine disk. All the systems work accept the Navigation system as when I switch on the screen comes up with 'not a maps CD' cleaned the disc and even put the old disc in which came up with the same message. Any ideas would be welcome
  5. I took my 2006 X Type Estate in for its MOT which went well but when i came to start it I noticed the Navigation screen was blank. I contacted the garage and the mechanics said it was blank when they did the MOT. The garage does'nt have a clue whats happened To be fair to the Garage we had the AirCon compressor changed by a different garage in February and after that it did the same only the mechanic said it happens a lot, Just chill and it will dry out (Got damp I presume) It did come back. This new problem has got them beat. <any help out there would be appreciated.
