  1. Yes, good thought although we requested that, none available for 3 weeks and we are loathe to lose any goodwill in the interim.
  2. Apologies if this update is posted incorrectly, I cannot discover how to update my original post. The dealer has today offered 80% contribution towards the replacement today which makes repair rather than replace a more viable option. Albeit we will have been without a car for a month meanwhile.
  3. Help…F pace 44k miles 2017. Juddered for 10 secs then engine died. Apparently it is seized and needs £10k to replace. Oil level fine, no warning lights or issues beforehand just managed to freewheel to side of the road. Recovered to Jaguar garage who have taken a week (& charged £160 for diagnostic), ‘compression problems and bits of metal in oil’ it’s always fully serviced by dealer who have now referred it to manufacturers. Trying to decide what to do next; 1) pay for (hopefully part of) it and repair 2) trade in as is and lease while the whole diesel/petrol/electric power debate rolls out what would you do? Thanks Sharon
