  1. There was a typo in the last post I meant to say March '22 My preference is going to be Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W 20 - prob get it this week 🙂
  2. Just wondering if anyone has done a DIY engine oil change on an X351 2012 V8 petrol (normally aspirated) engine, what engine oil did you prefer? The handbook states a 5w 20 specification WSS-M2C925A oil and recommends Castrol as a brand. I've hunted out the following as candidates: Castrol Edge Professional 5W 20 (BUT - this seems difficult to find - and EuroCar Parts not in stock as at March '21) Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W 20 (yes this is available) Liqui Moly Special Tec LR 5W 20 (again hard to find anywhere with any stock) Halfords own brand 5W 20 Eco Fully Synthetic Oil (seems perfect, on the label it states: WS-M2C925-A and also Jaguar Land Rover STJLR.03.5004 so should be ideal)
  3. Cheers Joe, think the V3.0 will be OK, I'll study it 🙂 R
  4. Cheers Jim, yes I've come across this fact before that there are 'clones' kicking about to be aware of that claim to be Icarsoft for example, but are not. Thanks for the tips I'll compare the V2.0 against the V3.0
  5. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has experience of real world ownership of a good OBD code reader, that would be best suited for my 2012 XJ LWB? I've been looking at iCarsoft LRII, iCarsoft LR V1.0, iCarsoft LR V2.0 or iCarsoft LR V3.0 But I'm open to other brands or suggestions. (I guess it all boils down to how deep you want to go in diagnosing any codes that may be present onthe car). R
