Hi Guys, I took my x type back to the garage and the mechanic said that, what I was interpreting as my clutch slipping was a misfire, he said if the clutch was slipping the rev counter would jump every time it slips, I connected my OBD scanner and I got a code P1111 P 01/01 All contributions will be gratefully received.

Just so I am prepared, could they have fitted a mondeo kit and is there a difference ? I've hear of other garages doing this thinking they are interchangeable.

Hi all I have just had a new clutch fitted to my Jaguar X type 2.1 petrol and it's slipping, if I come down to 2nd gear when turning into a road it slips as I accelerate and if I'm overtaking on a motorway I can feel it slip. Is there a bedding in period or could they have fitted the wrong clutch. The are suppose to be clutch specialists and have good reviews.
