For reasons that I cannot logically explain I've had the urge to look at buying an X-Type estate. After reading this and that and cross checking my thoughts with what the road fund license and insurance would cost me I kind of thought that I should look for a 2.2 diesel, non-DPF, with AWD and an auto box. I even thought that the Aisin 6 speed would be a better choice as I'd seen reports about the difficulty of performing oil changes on the 5 speed Jatco transmission. I've looked through the classified adds and to my surprise I cannot find the configuration that I thought would suit me best - I guess it doesn't exist ? Did Jaguar make a 2.2 non-DPF AWD in estate form with an automatic transmission - your thoughts and comments would be appreciated.
