  1. Hello XF owners - I'm a newbie so please ignore this if you had read similar previous posts. I have a nice 2009 XFS but the dashboard leather had multiple wrinkles, probably heat damage, glue unstuck etc. Very unsightly. I have fixed it fairly easily without cost as follows: Requirements : hot air gun (not hair dryer); heavy flat weights; thin wood or other flat object to cover the size of the area to be treated; wooden chopping board. 1. Clean dashboard and allow to dry 2. Hold chopping board between dash and window so heat cannot get to window 3. Apply hot air gun on maximum heat to area with wrinkles, moving hot air gun constantly so that entire area gets very hot but does not burn (60-90 secs) 4. Quickly place wood/flat object over area with wrinkles and weigh down with heavy weight (I used a shallow container containing bolts and nuts), but improvise with what you have) 5. Ensure area is flattened by weights, and leave for 3 hours. 6. If wrinkles still visible, repeat until gone. This worked extremely well for my XF. Make sure after fixing, that you always place a Windscreen heat protector over the dash in hot weather to avoid dash getting too hot. The difference in my Jag is now so amazing, dashboard as new. Hope this is helpful to someone - Jeff
