Hi, I recently had the same problem, the strap decided to come apart on the M5, I managed to push the broken strap under the outer rim till I got home. I’ve put several elasticsted straps on it to hold it in place. Apparently these.straps are obsolete now but have seen some on eBay. My jag is a 2006 xjTdvi sovereign I’m sure there is only one strap has I have been underneath the car. Can anyone tell me is there one strap or two, many thanks keith g
