  1. Further investigation reveals I DO have the flexi hoses feeding to the calipers! The caliper end terminates in the square fitting through which the banjo bolt goes into the caliper. It's this bolt I'm having trouble sizing, anyone got any suggestions please? Cheers....
  2. Just a thought, when fitted to a car, are there actually flexi hoses fitted into the calipers? It could be that with my trike, I've got rigid brake lines with a banjo bolt instead? Does that help at all with identifying the thread size/pitch? Cheers...
  3. Hi Folks. Just refurbishing a pair of 'S' type (X200) rear calipers, the big single pot type. I can't for the life of me figure out the size/thread for the banjo bolts on the brake pipes. It looks a very coarse thread and my metric test bolts just bind straight away, are they some kind of imperial size? Any advice much appreciated! Neil ('S' type trike)
  4. Hi Folks. Apologies if this is a bit of a forum hijack but I'm not sure where else to go! I am busy rebuilding a trike which has, I'm led to believe, an 'S' type mk2 back end. My research so far suggests this may be correct, the suspension set up looks right, if you ignore the obvious motorcycle attachments. If anyone can confirm for sure and give me a ball park year that would be great when it comes to getting spares etc, I wonder if the marks on the diff cover might help? I have a couple of questions regarding the handbrake set up. It looks like the original handbrake has been lifted and fixed at 90 degs, there is a short rod to the balance thing then a cable to each caliper. The calipers look identical, they are those big single pot type with the piston that unscrews. One side has a cable that terminates in the multi-spline end that pushes through the hole and springs out to stop it pulling back, the other cable has a completely different end and is held in place with a metal 'wedge', surely they are supposed to be the same, which one is correct? I've attached some images, any help advice much appreciated! Cheers....
  5. Hi Folks! Newbie here and I will explain. I have acquired a trike with, I'm led to believe, an 'S' type back end but I'm going to pose some questions in the technical forum, assuming only having 1/2 a Jag counts?!
