All disc brakes will get hot how long ago did they change the discs most replacements parts are under garantee for 12 months

Hi all i am confused (nothing unusual ) i am going to France soon so i need to get some spare bulbs and the hand book said i have HID's but looking at bulb in unit it looks like a normal H1 but on the unit glass it has stamped into it it is saying D2S H1 how do determine the correct bulb or do i have to remove the bulb to see, Not the easiest thing to do but if i have to i will. just noticed this thread saying fully synthetic not recommended but local jag dealer said only use fully synthetic so i went to buy some and local part store also said use only fully synthetic according to there bible now i am totaly confused (not difficult ).

Hi all i have a 2003 X Type 2.5 Sport and i am wondering if it is possible to have the door mirrors folding upon locking and unfolding upon unlocking as i am an old man and keep forgetting to fold them before i switch the car off if it is possible can someone give me a blow by blow of how. Many thanks DAN_V6_SE​i am not sure what oil is in the car at the moment but if my thinking is correct (usually not) 5w 30 only comes semi synth or fully synth and they will mix so if i buy fully synth to top up then when i do a oil change use fully synth please correct me if this is wrong. I only got the car last Saturday and it had a service but they cannot tell me what oil they put in as the mechanic is on holiday. Many thanks Dell
