Hello I have recently bought 2007 x type estate and the sensors (front and rear) have never worked. The red light above rear view mirror justed flashed when reversing ect. I then checked each sensor for the ticking sound and found 1 not to be working. I replaced this sensor and its now working but still red light falshing and still no sound. Could it be the module in the boot ? Fuse(s) ? I am stuck now and not wanting to spend money on a module if there is anything else it could be. Any help will be great , thanks for your time Bobbybailey

Hello I have just purchased a X type 2007 2.0d estate and I am hearing a rattle sound coming from around the aux belt. It is still under warranty so I took it back to them and they have told me the noise was coming from the aircon clutch (which they said they have removed and cleaned etc and refitted if this is even possible). I have never heard of this before and was wondering if they are trying to palm me off with this answer as friends ( mastertech from RAC) have said it sounds like the tensioner is on its way out. Could anyone help me to determin if this is the tensioner or the aircon clutch. Any advice would be great help . thanks for helping Bobbybailey
