I have recently bought a 2004 2.0d sport and during the test drive I heard a knocking from the front. The dealer agreed to have it looked at. The result was a new drive shaft being fitted to the offside. This cured the knocking sound. as to the cost I don't know as it was an MOT feature and the car came with a years MOT.

Just might be another angle to consider.

I have got a 2004 2.0d and the windscreen has ingrained wiper marks and lots of small stone chips.

Does anyone know what a new windscreen costs and where I could get one and fitted.

Thanks Peter, If this rain ever stops I'll go and give the cassette a push and a bit of a jiggle and see what happens.

The cd changer the boot of my 2004 2.0d sport doesn't eject the cd cassette when the eject button is pushed. There is power to the changer unit as the eject button is lit when the ignition is turned on.

Does anybody have any ideas as to how I can persuade the cassette to 'eject'
