Some of the members have mentioned before, encluding myself have noticed what sounds like a chain rattling which is to with the rear brakes. Can only be herd at speeds up to about 30 and then when windows are open. I had mine in to different people it disappears for a sometime but returns months later.

  3. Hi Dave,

If you haven't check yet, a lot of members keep mentioning battery condition, it could be worth checking out as if it's not charging properly this can cause intermitant electrical problems. Hope this may help, if not try old Peter he's always offer some great advise

    Regards,

    Andrew

  4. Hi Stan

I have used mine serval times, with no problems. They have however had to work out the discount first and enter the price manually, which I have always checked its correct.

Hope you have better luck next time

  6. Hi Robert

I have the estate and they are just at the top seat just behind, although the seat themselves do not lift up and forward as I had with previous estates But there were to Jags If you have the saloon I am not sure if they fold down at all, you might have to remove the rear seats.

I hope this may help in a little way

  7. Hi Richard

Welcome to the club, you will find that somebody will always have the answer you will be looking for.

There was an episode on wheeler dealers where they had some interia parts wrapped in carbon as well as wrapping a set of wheels in tiger print, you could check on demand on sky

    Hope this may help

  8. Hi David

Currently got the same on my 2007 XType sound's to me like a chain rattling, it's been in the garage and they have said it was the retaking clip on the rear pads was missing, which they have done (this was back in August), it's now come back, so it's going back in the garage. I think it might be something else as the retains clips were put on and for what I can see they are still there. If you find out before I do, drop us a line as I can't get mine into the garage for a couple weeks

  9. Hi Luvneet

Welcome to JOC, you will find that we are a friendly bunch here and you will get some great advise.

The jag main dealers are bad but you will pay over the top, you can always find a local garage that can do at more favourable prices, have a look around in your area I am sure you could of got everything done for a lot cheaper. I use my local Halfords for my XType and my previous cars as well as my wife's merc.

    Regards

  10. Hi All

Just got back from joc Brighton biannual meet. A big thank you to Steve for organising today I had great time, met lots of different people from all walks of life and with all one thing in common a Jaguar owner, had some great conversation on different topics about our cars.

Cold and windy but at least the rain stayed away.

Will Look forward to going on future joc events

    Regard,

    Andrew
