hi anyone ever used k seal some say that it is the best thing ever

my wife's car had a very bad water leak I put it in it was great

the car ran for two years without a drop of water used.

some people may have different views would be interesting too know how you

rate k seal

could it be the head gasket had a the same thing on my merc

I put some k seal in and it done the job

hi would anyone know if the x type engine cover on the 2 ltr diesel

are all the same. I went to buy one off eBay and it said saloon

I have the estate and would like to know if they are different

hi on the side of air flow unit that goes past the battery there is a small rubber tube that you just push on

if you look at the battery top cover to the left you will see it looks like a little tube with a larger bit of rubber on the top  just

push it back into the hole let me know if you have any luck some times that pipe can split as well or perrish

hi take the battery cover off and under the air intake unit is a pipe make sure this is on

the air unit was off when they done the egr and the pipe can be forgot to be put back on

 easy to do

hi just had the very same thing new pipe but did not change the egr

put a blanking plate in at the cost of £3 now runs like a bird

when you want to retract the bolster you have to hold  the switch for what seems to be a long time

its very slow best wishes

do you know anyone who works on cars other then a garage they will be so much cheaper a kit for the cam is on eBay for about £83 quid

 most cars with the key off should still be able to use the radio by turning the radio on but it will only come on for one hour

if its running as you say very well just change the cam belt and all should be fine

what sort of service history does it have when was the cam belt last changed

look inside the Oil filler cap to see if its clean

some have had key problems  and electric problems but a lot of this was sorted out

also clutch failure was a problem if you are buying the car from a dealer get a good warranty

I have had a 2.2 with no problem's  please don't be put off they are a great car and 95

% will go on for a very long time without a hiccup best of luck
