Thank you Peter& Frank I think you are right I will have to make it clear to them that I never had the problem before they carried out the service To be honest I am not sure whether to take it to any Jaguar specialist or to Hatfield, the main Jaguar dealership for a diagnosis bearing in mind that we are not only talking about a mechanical issue but also a technical one which means I need a garage that has a Jaguar software In fact the main one is very expensive and I don't think they are wiling to provide a report confirming that it was caused by the Pentagon Servicing company Regards Sal

Many thanks Frank, You are right they must have done something to cause this especially I have got the front parking sensor is not working anymore and it cannot be just coincidence, I took it back to them and they denied any responsibility and said the service has got nothing to do with the gearbox

Hi, First of all, Peaceful and happy new year to everybody, I am a new member and seek some advice if someone has had a similar issue to mine, I have just bought an X Type and had it serviced in the Pentagon car service Immediately after the service I have had a gearbox faulty warning on the dash which some times shows when I start the engine and sometimes not. when it is there, the car judders and shake when I change the gearbox while it is stationary, however it drives smoothly even when the warning is there I am just wondering if there is something wrong done during the service, I will be grateful if you can let me know if anyone has experienced this
