Hi I've had my 59 plate xf luxury premium for just over 2 years and love it but I've had a gear box error come up a few times once on the motorway stopped to pay roll on bridge pulled off went though gears to 4th then fault came up pulled over stopped engine restarted all fine second time going up hill used paddle to change up and error cane up same thing stopped engine and then all good its like if you slip to neutral revs go up but no drive any ideas please

Take it on a run over 50mph in a low gear this should sort it Hope this helps

Hi I've a 59 plate XF and in the XF group on Facebook when messages like yours come up for no reason they say to have the battery checked as if it's low it throws up messages hope this helped

Thought I'd put this out there jest had my 3lt XF diesel serviced by an independent garage for £100 cheaper than Jaguar B service £329 all I wanted was that they used the correct oil ( which they did) wasn't bothered if the filters were genuine Jag parts so in short the money I saved I used to have it Terracleaned what a difference it made gained an extra 6 mpg on running around local so don't know what difference it will make on a long run but can't wait to get it on the-motorway to see what it will do hope this helps anyone thinking of getting it done

Hi Ian I changed mine a few years back for a black one it was only about 6 screws but be ware when buying off eBay make sure you get the right one for your model I bought one and it came back wrong the lugs were to long so it wouldn't fit . I've now got an XF and was looking to change the grill for a black one but instead I primed my chrome one and sprayed it with a auto paint took 10 min to mask up gave it 3 coats and a matt lacquer and fair play it looks great and saved myself a load of money

Hi know this is a late reply but you can get stick on leaper on EBay for £16.99 it's from Hong Kong but a have bought stuff from there and it has been fine the seller is delux-choice item number 231593956557 Hope this can help some one else who is looking for a bonnet leaper

hi has any one had there car Terracleaned if so did it make any difference to mpg and toque I seen it a while back on Wheeler Dealer and it did look impressive but is it worth the £100 + to have it done I have a 3ltr XF on a 59 plate Cheers

hi can any one tell me if the wiring harness is the same on all XFs I have a 59 plate premium 3ltr and was looking to had a reverse camera and a iPod-USB interface I know these are optional extras but was wondering if it jest a case of fitting these and popping the cables on
