I doubt it is possible to merge maps, as they'll be encoded in such a way as to make them unreadable.

Been trawling through the forums today looking for recommendations for replacement wheel nuts and locking wheel nuts. Just purchased my '06 S-Type and noticed that the locking wheel nuts were a bit corroded, so thought I'd replace them along with the actual wheel buts. Any recommended makes or stores to buy from please ?? Thanks in advance.

I've got a few dings and scratches I need to get sorted first, then I'll look at a paint treatment I think. PS. I'm not Chris - either CBers or Keith :)

Just bought a 2nd-hand 2011/2012 disk for my S-TYPE for £20 from eBay (to replace original 2005/2006 disk) and it worked straight away. Would be nice to get a more up-to-date disk though, even if it's a brand new disk.

I only have read sensors. I have tried spraying the unit with WD40, but still not working correctly. I've found a "tested and working" module on e-Bay, but the number on it (4x43-15k866-AE) seems to be for an X-type rather than an s-type, although it;s the same as the one on mine. Do the models use the same thing ??

Spannerman - now why does that name ring a bell ?!?!?! There is a little moisture in the boot where I think the valeters steam cleaned it the other day. The unit itself does seem sealed OK, but I will try some WD40. One of the sensors are physically pushed in about an inch on the rear bumper, but the other 3 are OK.

How easy is it to change the bulbs in the front fog lights please ?? I can't quite figure them out. Thanks in advance.

Excellent price. I was quoted £500 at Halford's to replace disks and pads all round if/when they needed replacing.

I have just purchased a 2nd-hand 2006 S-Type SE D Autom, but it has a problem with the Rear Parking Sensors. When in reverse, there is no sound when near to the wall/fence on my drive, but when in drive and neutral, they beep !! Any ideas what the matter could be please ?? For now, I have disconnected the Parking Assist box in the boot, but I would like to get it fixed as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

This is a large forum, so will take a while to read through all of the posts etc. Just enquired about the Terracleaning - dealer just down the road from me :) So you would recommend staying with the Shell V Power diesel then ?? Right, off to post somewhere about my dodgy rear parking sensors !!
