Thanks for your reply, Joe. I agree that the discs are the prime suspect for the steering wheel shake when braking even though they've only been on the car for a few weeks. I was just wondering if there could be any other underlying faults/misalignments with the wheels or front assembly in general that could cause rapid uneven disc wear, As it is, I will have to get the vehicle looked at and my guess is that they'll say that the discs are knack'd. If so, I might not be surprised to have to replace them in a few weeks, perhaps on an endless cycle. If I do face a disc replacement, should I go for genuine Jag parts?
