Hi

Just got my first jag - a 2.2 xf diesel 163. What is done by jaguar to achieve 200 from same engine? Any experience in chipping the 163? Ps the jag is wonderful - I am annoyed I have waited so long

Welcome to the Club, Rob.

What Jaguar do to improve engine performance does seem a mystery to me, top.

There are some members who have had that 2.2 diesel remapped and feel that the money spend has been worthwhile.

Meanwhile, enjoy the Jaguar experience.

Regards,

Peter.

Welcome Rob

but if only you had bought an XF with a proper Diesel engine you wouldn't need to consider a re-map but then again the money you will save in fuel you can easily afford the re-map and new turbo's as and when they give up lol
