Hey all. One of my key fobs is starting to fail. It's the "unlock" button. When depressed, it will not activate open, and sometimes takes several attempts using my finder nail, rather than just a light press with a finger tip. I've changed the battery to no improvement.

Any suggestions anyone? Or is it a new one I need, and if so, where is it best to go for one?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi Steve,

You can buy a new bit that replaces the pad. Quite easy too.  My numbers had all worn out and I got one via the internet off Taunton Jaguar. Googled and it came within two days,

It is possible that the innards of the pad are worn out.

Peter.

ps. Cost about £3.95.

That would do the job, Stephen,

Just the case on mine failed.

Not too bad a price.

Go for it.

Peter.
