Hi everyone. Having just bought my XType and yes I have read the user manual. Could someone please tell me what actually happens when you press the S (Sport) button. I haven't pressed it yet and would welcome some advice before I do. 


It changes the gear shift points slightly, stays longer in gear before changing up, and so on. Suspension, engine output etc are not affected in any way.

"A" forgot to mention that it also activates the ejector seat on the passenger side, so if the wife is annoying you, you know know what to do !

I new there had to be a better use for it than just a way to use more petrol!
