Interior lights

Iam new to this so please bare with me I own a 10 plate xf and sometimes the interior lights seem to have a mind of there own it's like sitting in a disco any suggestions guys n gals

It is the Blackpool lights season in your car, then?

 

I can't think of an answer as I have never come across that one  ---  yet!

 

I would suggest that you went through the switches on by one, switching each one on and then off, and the see how they respond.

 

I don't know the interior lights on an XF, but that is what I would do on my S type.

Hi had randomly on off of front lights in the roof panel - was a bad electrical connector inside it - dealer fixed in 10 mins

That's good, Mike.

 

A bit of dirt on electrical contacts can cause  problems.
