Seat height

Is it possible to safely raise the seat height on a XF driver's seat?

I have a medical condition which means that with conventional drivers seats I am too low in the seat to have optimum vision & control. At present I have an Audi A6, and have successfully overcome the problem by removing the existing bolts, and fitting longer securing bolts with metal collars to raise the drivers seat about another 75 mm (3 inch). 

Would a similar exercise be possible on a Jaguar XF? I'd be very grateful for any observations.

I don't know the XF seating setup, but I guess someone will be along who does.
